 THE QUANTOCK CAR COLLECTION

The Quantock Car Collection offers the opportunity to experience exceptional performance cars without compromise. Our vehicles are privately owned, meticulously prepared, and offered on a limited basis to ensure quality, discretion, and enjoyment.

Additional vehicles may be introduced over time, in keeping with the ethos of the collection.

• Day hire
• Weekend hire
• Extended hire by arrangement
   

Weekend hire typically covers Friday afternoon to Monday morning, unless agreed otherwise.

Each hire includes a generous mileage allowance, appropriate to the hire period.
Additional mileage can be arranged in advance.

Our aim is enjoyment, not restriction — clarity is simply agreed beforehand.

A refundable security deposit is required prior to collection.

In the event of damage, an insurance excess will apply in line with the insurer’s terms. Full details will be provided clearly before confirmation of hire.

Our cars are offered in exceptional condition and are expected to be returned in the same spirit.

The following are not permitted:

• Track use or competitive driving
• Smoking or vaping in the vehicle
• Pets or animals
• Driving outside the UK without prior agreement
   

All vehicles must be driven responsibly and in accordance with UK road laws.

Vehicles are typically collected from our Somerset base.
Delivery and collection may be available by arrangement.

Cars should be returned:

• On time
• With the agreed fuel level
• In a clean and presentable condition
   

The Quantock Car Collection is not a volume hire operation.
We offer a limited number of vehicles to clients who appreciate them.

Enquiries are reviewed personally.
Once approved, full insurance documentation and confirmation details will be provided prior to hire.

To protect our vehicles — and ensure every hire is fully insured — we carry out a structured driver approval process prior to release.

As a specialist provider of Aston Martin and Porsche vehicles, our insurance requires all drivers to be fully verified before the hire can proceed.

The process is straightforward and handled discreetly.

What We Require From Every Driver

Driving Licence

• Copy of photocard driving licence (address must be current)
• DVLA online licence check (UK mainland licences only)

The name and address on your licence must match your proof of address documents.

Proof of Address (Two Separate Documents)

You must provide two proofs of address from separate sources.

Accepted documents include:

• Bank statement
• Credit card statement
• Mortgage statement
• Council tax bill (annual accepted)
• Utility bill (gas, electricity, water)
• Broadband/landline bill
• Payslip
• HMRC correspondence
• Pension letter
• Car finance statement
• Loan statement
• Property deed
• Polling card
• TV licence
• Student loan statement
• Shotgun licence

All documents (except annual council tax) must be dated within 90 days of the hire start date.

We cannot accept insurance documents as proof of address.

Security Deposit

A cleared and fully traceable security deposit is required prior to vehicle release.

This must be paid by:

• Bank transfer (BACS)
• Credit or debit card
• Other traceable electronic payment method

The deposit must come from the primary driver unless agreed otherwise in advance.

Signed Rental Agreement

All drivers must sign our rental agreement before collection.

Driver Eligibility Criteria

To hire one of our vehicles, drivers must:

• Meet our age requirements
• Hold a full UK or EU licence
• Have held their licence for a minimum of 5 years
• Have no more than one fault claim or incident within the last 3 years

Driving Licence Points

We review each licence individually, but the following applies:

Accepted as Standard

• Two separate 3-point offences
• Any single conviction under 6 points
• Single 4-point offence (subject to standard terms)

May Require Increased Excess

• Single 6-point SP30, SP50 or CU80
• 9 total points from three 3-point offences

Requires Insurer Referral

• MS90 or IN10 offences
• Any driving ban or disqualification
• Other 6+ point offences not listed above

If you are unsure about your eligibility, speak to us in confidence before booking.

Licence Renewals or Updates

If your licence is being renewed or recently updated, we may require:

• Passport copy
• DVLA confirmation of changes
• Two proofs of address

We will guide you through this where necessary.
